A3D Technologies, Inc. is a Toledo, Oregon–based additive manufacturing company. We help engineers, designers, manufacturers, artists, and businesses turn digital designs into physical parts — using industrial 3D printing, 3D scanning, CAD modeling, and rapid prototyping on the Oregon Coast and across the Pacific Northwest.
Our studio is located at 217 South Main Street, in Toledo, Oregon, ZIP code 97391. Toledo is a small city in Lincoln County on the central Oregon Coast, just inland from Newport and the Pacific Ocean. We are part of a growing community of makers, engineers, and outdoor-industry companies that call the coast home.
A3D Technologies operates a mixed fleet of industrial 3D printers — FDM, resin (SLA/DLP), and selective laser sintering (SLS) — paired with professional 3D scanning and CAD modeling services. We work with engineering-grade materials including PLA, ABS, PETG, ASA, nylon, carbon-fiber-reinforced polymers, and high-temperature resins, producing parts for functional prototypes, end-use components, tooling, and artistic projects.
To make additive manufacturing accessible and practical — helping every client, from a solo inventor to a mid-size manufacturer, turn ideas into physical parts quickly, affordably, and with the precision that modern engineering demands.
Years in Business
Parts Printed
Large-format fused deposition modeling in PLA, ABS, PETG, ASA, nylon, and carbon-fiber blends — ideal for functional prototypes, jigs, fixtures, and end-use parts.
High-detail resin printing in standard, tough, castable, dental, and high-temperature resins — perfect for jewelry, miniatures, investment casting patterns, and detailed prototypes.
Selective laser sintering in nylon PA12 for strong, complex, watertight parts with no support material — used for production components and moving assemblies.
Handheld and structured-light scanning of physical objects, mechanical parts, sculptures, and consumer products — converted into clean CAD or mesh files.
Part design, printability analysis, STL/STEP preparation, topology optimization, and design-for-additive-manufacturing (DfAM) consulting.
Short production runs of 10–1,000 parts, with finishing, painting, assembly, and packaging — bridge production before injection molding or tooling.

We designed and printed a watertight ASA housing for a coastal oceanographic sensor, with integrated cable glands and UV resistance for long-term deployment.
We 3D-scanned and printed a series of detailed anatomical models for anatomy education, in color-coded resin and nylon for hands-on student use.
We iterated 12 design versions of a custom drone frame in carbon-fiber nylon over 6 weeks, helping the startup move from concept to flight-ready prototype.
